Help sought

In summary, our church, St James, continues to seek the following:

1. Church sitters. To keep the church open and welcoming on additional weekdays, so that it can be open each weekday.

2. Donations (using the Gift Aid scheme where possible)for the following:
Church maintenance
Proposed Parish Room

At present we can accept donations only by cheque. Should you wish to make a donation, it would be most gratefully received and can be posted direct to the Finance Officer / Treasurer at St James Garlickhythe, Garlick Hill, London, EC4 2AL.

Should you be a UK taxpayer, please remember that Gift Aid increases the value of your donation by a further 28%, at no additional cost to yourself. A Gift Aid Declaration form is accessible below, with instructions, and may be printed off for completion and mailing.

- Church maintenance

Donation cheques, to support this on-going necessity, should be made payable to the PCC of St James Garlickhythe and sent for the attention of the Planned Giving Secretary. Please print out the Gift Aid form and return it with your donation.

Future plans

Plans to build a parish room, kitchen and additional disabled toilet, encompassing the small area of unused church land at the north east corner of the church, have now been granted planning approval and quotations for the, now finalised, works have been compared.  A campaign is now being launched for funds to build this much needed resource that we expect will be of use to all who use St. James Garlickhythe for spiritual and social purposes, as well as others in the local community.
